Opened in 2006 by Juan Carlos Amezcua and his family, this family business began as a traditional Mexican bakery/taqueria. In late 2009, Juan Carlos had the idea of expanding the adjacent vacant lot to create a space where his loyal customers could enjoy his delicious food and pastries, as well as watch television. By the end of 2010, Carla’s Bakery had expanded, and with the increase in size, the menu was also expanded. Carla’s Bakery remains a family business and completely loyal to its beloved  customers.
